Resumo: Na literatura infantojuvenil é muito apreciado o gênero fantástico, em função de ele despertar o interesse pela leitura por meio de suas características, marcadas pela incerteza e estranheza. No entanto, considerando a grande incidência de produções audiovisuais, muitas vezes voltadas mais ao entretenimento do que à formação intelectual do público a quem se dirigem, é importante analisar como a tradução de obras literárias para o formato cinematográfico pode, na contramão da alienação, potencializar a formação e consolidação de leituras mais plurais e nesse sentido, mais letradas. Uma das formas de tradução é a intersemiótica, a qual provoca os leitores, abrindo, desse modo, a possibilidade para leituras plurais. Nesse sentido, objetivou-se, nesta pesquisa, investigar as relações entre duas semioses, a saber literatura e cinema, a partir da obra O leão, a feiticeira e o guarda-roupa, de C. S. Lewis. Abstract: In childrens literature, the fantastic genre is highly valued because of its characteristics of uncertainty and strangeness, which arouse interest in reading. However, given the high number of audiovisual productions, which often aim more at entertainment than at the intellectual formation of the audience to which they are addressed, it is important to analyze how the translation of literary works into the cinematographic format, in the opposite direction of alienation, can promote the formation and consolidation of more plural readings and, in this sense, more literate. One of the forms of translation is the intersemiotic, which provokes the reader and opens up the possibility of plural readings.
