Resumo: A IMPORTÂNCIA DO LETRAMENTO DIGITAL NAS PRÁTICAS ESCOLARES
Abstract: The present study deals with digital literacy within the discussion about the challenges posed to the school by confronting the new reading and writing practices provided by the use of the computer and the internet. With the advent of technology, several changes are present, not only in social relations and forms of interaction, but also in the textual genres that circulate socially and in the ways of reading. Therefore, the social and cultural context involves the digital age in which we are inserted in society, and technologies are related to social and media changes. Thus, the field of technologies requires skills of interpretation, administration, sharing and creating meaning in digital communication. This new reality points to language teaching that meets the current and future needs of students, since there is no denying the impact of technologies on languages. In this sense, it is necessary to reflect on how to reconcile the application of technological means in the most diverse social fields, after all, we are immersed in a society of diverse literacies. In this way, it is reflected on the importance of the insertion of digital technological devices in the classroom, aiming at the construction of a more dynamic, interactive, autonomous and critical teaching. Based on Coscarellis theoretical proposals (2005, 2014) Ferreira Goulart (2019) Soares (2002, 2009) Pinheiro Araújo (2016) Rojo (2009, 2012), Vieira (2013), among others, a theoretical research based on the selection of the works of researchers in different universities in the five Brazilian regions North, Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and South, which discuss the theme of digital literacy and the insertion of technologies at different levels of education, thinking about the different ways of incorporating the modalities of such literacy into educational practices. The analysis carried out made it possible to understand that representations about the concept of digital literacy can interfere in teaching, social interactions and school experience, based on readings of multimodal texts through digital spaces in new teaching methodologies
