Resumo: Este trabalho tem como horizonte investigar o papel da justiça e da educação na formação do indivíduo e da cidade ideal, no contexto da República de Platão. A investigação se concentra nos sete primeiros livros da obra, em que Platão desenvolve, por meio da voz de Sócrates, uma reflexão sobre a constituição da pólis justa e a formação moral dos cidadãos. O estudo busca compreender como a educação é apresentada como o caminho pelo qual a alma humana se eleva do sensível ao inteligível, alcançando o conhecimento do Bem. Para tanto, foi realizado um exame interpretativo dos diálogos que compõem o percurso educativo descrito por Platão, destacando a importância da harmonia entre as partes da alma e as classes da cidade. Observou-se que, em A República, a justiça não se reduz a um princípio jurídico ou social, mas representa a ordem interior que reflete a estrutura do todo. Abstract: This work aims to investigate the role of justice and education in the formation of the individual and the ideal city, within the context of Platos Republic. The investigation focuses on the first seven books of the work, in which Plato, through the voice of Socrates, develops a reflection on the constitution of the just polis and the moral formation of citizens. The study seeks to understand how education is presented as the path by which the human soul rises from the sensible to the intelligible, achieving knowledge of the Good. To this end, an interpretative examination of the dialogues that comprise the educational journey described by Plato was carried out, highlighting the importance of harmony between the parts of the soul and the classes of the city.
